FEES:

There is a $10 fee per donkey nominated for the High Point Awards. Fee MUST be paid prior to a show for that show's points to be allowed to count for the current show season. There will be no swapping of donkeys during the show season.

Any donkey used by a YOUTH must be signed up in order for the youth to be elegible for awards (donkey not youth). The you
th must also be signed up as a member prior to a show for that show's points to be allowed to be counted for the current show season.

This fee helps offset the cost of the awards since a lot of club members do not show.

DATES:  January 1st thru December 31st

AWARD BANQUET:

Awards Banquet date will be decided at the annual meeting.

RULES:

Only TENNESSEE shows are eligible. At the end of the show season, you may only count four (4) Tennessee shows for points. Exhibitors will choose which four (4) shows they wish to count.

***MUST EXHIBIT IN AT LEAST TWO SHOWS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR AN AWARD***

Each member is responsible for turning in their own points!!! The cutoff date for turning in your points is December 1st. The committee is not responsbile for collecting your points!!

If any club member is not allowed to show at a Tennessee show due to being the Show Chairman or having to work the show, he/she will be allowed to double his/her points of another show.

Donkeys can not count youth classes or fun classes such as panty race, musical buckets and costume towards their annual awards.

Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion are determined by totaling Halter, In Hand, In Harness, and Color points (spotted color added will be minus ACOSA).

YOUTH RULES:

Youth exhibitors will be allowed to show multiple donkeys but will only be able to use the points from ONE donkey towards the youth award. Youth exhibitors will choose which donkey to count points for and which four shows they want to use.

Youth exhibitors are not allowed to show in any "adult" class.

If a show offers a specific youth class, the youth will only be able to count those points
towards their youth award. If the same show offers that same class in an open class the youth can show in the class but the points will only count toward the donkey. If a youth has only the option to show in an open class, the youth will earn points toward the youth award and the donkey will also earn points towards it's show awards.

exp: A show has a youth coon jumping class, the youth can show in the youth coon jumping class and count those points towards their youth award. If the youth wants to show in the open coon jumping class they can, but the points from that class will only count towards the donkey's points.

Game classes such as panty race, costume, musical buckets, etc. will be counted towards youth annual awards.

***Note: These youth rules differ from NMDA's youth show rules which will only come
into play at a sanctioned show.

DONATED AWARD

Crooked Creek Ranch donated an additional award for Grand Champion High Point Donkey in 2009. This trophy rotates yearly and can be retired after a farm has won the trophy 5 times. Once the trophy is retired a new trophy can be donated, it is customary that the retiring farm donate the new trophy but is by no means required.
