Oct 7th thru 12th - The National Drive Event - devoted exclusively to equine driving (especially pleasure driving) - Lexington Horse Park, Lexington, Kentucky. They offer a 3-day special driving package (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).

TENNESSEE DONKEY ASSOCIATION 2008 DRIVING AWARD PROGRAM Effective 1/1/08 thru 12/31/08 FEES: $5 per each donkey enrolled RULES: 1. A “driving log” will be provided to each donkey enrolled. 2. Each participant will be required to maintain his/her Driving Log. 3. Each driving time must be a minimum of 15 minutes and will be kept in 15 minute increments. 4. Driving time includes any driving done except while driving in a class at a show. AWARDS: Champion Award – award given to the donkey that has been driven the most time. Reserve Champion Award – award given to the second place donkey. In the event of a “tie” for the Champion Award, a drawing to determine the winner will be held with the other donkey placing Reserve. In the event of a “tie” for the Reserve Champion Award, a drawing to determine the winner will be held. NOTE: Donkeys MUST be enrolled in the program before ANY driving time can be counted!
